bank or broker??????

Just wondering if it is better to go to a bank or to go to a mortgage broker?

Does it make a difference who you should go to if you are buying the house to fix it up and sell it or just to buy and own for a while ?

We are thinking about buying something fixing it up and then using the money made to actually afford a house in the area we want on LI.

Any suggestions or opinions?

If you know someone that used a trustworthy broker, you may be better off with them. They will be able to put you with a bank that best suits your needs.

DON'T go with a broker that you have never heard of or that no one knows...many do charge some extra fees.
