Banquet Co-ordinators

I went to my hall this weekend to make another payment and when I asked for my BC they said she was no long with them!!!!
She was GREAT, she definatly was part of the reason we even booked there. I think if I initially met with someone else we wouldve been sketchy about booking there...

WHHHHYYY does this happen?!?!!!!

I met my new BC and she seemed very nice. Told me that she would have me and FH in to discuss our contract and also any verbal contract we might have made. They told me not to worry, that everything is still the same. But I definatly did feel soooo comfortable with my original BC

that sux!!! i know that is so disappointing. but who knows, maybe when you have the meeting with the new BC that you will really love her too!

make sure you express to them, that the old BC was a factor in you picking the hall...and that you had high expectations from her. maybe they'll go that extra step to make sure you are happy since that BC isn't with the place anymore!

Ro, thats happened to us also. We were NOT happy at all. But we've gotten over it, and deal with someone whom we know will always be there. We also have to go over our verbal and contract to see whats what. It really does $uck. But for the most part we're soo very happy with our new BM.

Same thing happened w/us at Floral Terrace - haven't met w/anyone new but we're hoping all works out.

must be a trend with Sand Castle & Floral Terrace , ( same owners) ,,
we had the same thing happen to us, The bm got vertigo & has basically been on a medical leave, But turns out the girl who is now out new BM is FH best friends niece,, Can we say 'hooked up', Too bad though we werent aware of thia when we signed the contract otherwise we would have saved .. But thats ok, im happy with who we ended up with , even if the old bm comes back they know who we are now,, !!!!

Is Dawn the person you met with? I got a call from her on Sunday introducing herself. We had originally been given the tour and subsequently signed with Sheila. I found out through a message board that Sheila had left, but being that everyone raved about Maureen, I figured we would be fine. Our next payment is due 1/15, so my FH and I thought we would set up an appointment to meet Maureen then. Now it looks like we saved ourselves yet another meeting!

When I spoke with Dawn and asked about the recommended vendors, she said they had updated the list and would e-mail it to me. Being that we still need to book a few vendors, I'm looking forward to seeing the list.

I met Dawn but only briefly... Maureen was indeed AWESOME...

I didnt hear about the vendors though... Basically when I went last weekend, Maureen had left within 48 hours and they were making phone calls by date of event, so they were only up to like March.. I hope to get that call soon too... Im kinda nervous though... I really hope they follow through

I just read this and I am in shock and now reeeealllllyyyy nervous!! I LOVED Maureen! This is not a good start to this year for me now

I would honestly feel the same way...The reason why I book with a particular vendor is because I feel comfortable with the person I met with that is doing my wedding. I'm sorry!
