Banquet Manager Tip

Hi ladies,

Coming down to the wire and getting my tips situated. What is the going rate for the banquet manager tip? Mine has gone above and beyond for us and has been nothing short of perfect throughout our process. I want to be sure to do right by her. Any advice would be appreciated.

Banquet Manager Tip

I don't think I have ever seen anyone post that they have tipped the banquet manager.....so that makes me think they don't get much so anything will be appreciated.

I have this list from the knot bookmarked...which says 15-20% for reception staff.

I love my BM and definitely plan to tip her - I'd say $200 is what I am budgeting. She has been with me every step of the way so I couldn't imagine NOT giving her something for all of her hard work.

Do they usually show up to the wedding?? At my engagement party, my BM didn't show his face. It was good though, because he did exactly none of the things I asked him to do.

I know at Flowerfield they do - they don't stay the whole night, but they are there until the first dance. I am working with Heather and she said they all go to their weddings.

I agree. Never heard of tipping the BM before so I think whatever you can afford to tip is fine

Thanks ladies. I just feel that she has been the one who has been there from the beginning for us. She has never so much has taken more than a few hours to respond to an email or a phone call. She threw in extras and has just been a pleasure to work with. She will be at the wedding until the first dance and then she leaves us. I just really want her to know how much she is appreciated.
