Re: Banquet Server At Catering Halls
Fh's family owns a catering business and he would do it for extra cash and get like 200 bucks before tips.

Re: Banquet Server At Catering Halls
I don't have any idea, Michelle??
I was actually going to look into being a banquet manager - I'm just not sure I could handle all the Bridezillas!!!
HEHEHE!!
I would imagine that the *nicer* halls get better tips, not necessarily a better base salary.
Good luck!!

Re: Banquet Server At Catering Halls
I was a banquet manager once- don't do it! It's aweful- bridezillas are the tip of the iceberg- the hours you have to work are crazy b/c most people book after work & on weekends.. I never had 2 days off in a row and had to work most holidays- it stunk.

Re: Banquet Server At Catering Halls
my husband used to work for a company that would travel from hall to hall doing jobs. You would never know where you would be from job to job. I know that he made good $$$$ but the hours ****ed and the work was hard!!
Im sure you are looking to work at one place, and not travel right? Let me know if you want more info on the company that he worked for.
