Barbados

Anyone ever been to Barbados? DH and I are trying to plan a vacation for this summer and this is one of our choices. Good/Bad experiences?

Barbados is by far my favorite caribbean island and I've been to a few. We are going back there for our honeymoon, staying at the Waves all inclusive resort.

Its a very clean island and the people really care about it. At the beach bars the beer is cheap, the rum punch is strong and the people are SUPER friendly.

I would recommend Barbados to anyone. We really had a great time when we were there.

I LOVED Barbados. Its def a great honeymoon spot- not a party atmosphere like cancun. The locals are so nice and i felt safe the whole time even though i was only with my girlfriend. There was this guy we met on the plane who was a tour guide and he was so nice he gave us a free tour and took us to all the fun local spots. He took us to 'electric avenue' (from that reggae song lol) I cant remember his name..it was like Dans tour or somerthing...but he was great if i remember his name i will post back.......

We stayed at Divi Southwinds and it was pretty nice. it was under rennovation while we stayed so im not sure what its like now. I lovveeed the beach and we got to witness baby sea turtles taking their first trip out to sea :)
