Barbara- your question about informals on the vendor board
I read your question and wanted to offer some information. I just purchased informals from Party Hardy. I wanted a very high quality paper stock, but didn't want to pay for Craines since it was way over budget. I got their more expensive ones and only paid $170 for (150) informals. And they had tons for less than that too. I am using mine as thank yous for my e-party and wedding. I didn't want to send those little photos to everyone, just close friends and family.
Save the date cards- www.cardstore.com has postcard STD cards for pretty cheap. You create the card online and they can even mail them out for you. I did my e-party invites that way. The quality was good, and again, hassle-free.
In my opinion- I think having a reception card is a better option. Crowding the formal invite with text is not always the best way to go. You can consider getting a less expensive reception card by chosing a plain white or ivory stock without a matching design. As long as it all coordinators it would be fine.
I hope this helps.
