Barbie Bride Cake - Test

So, my sister's show is in March and I have been agonizing over the barbie cake. I did a test run on Sunday and the thing fell apart.

Thank god FH's mom is a baker and I came home last night and he was baking the sections again. He substituted some things to make the batter thicker and cooked it at a different setting.

I am so happy this is actually going to work....

Sorry, I was going to post them in the thread but they are too large. Pics in my album - I just uploaded them.

I know the frosting is weird, but the baker at the reception hall is going to frost it for us the same color as the sheet cake. This was just a test.
