Barcelona / Mediterranean Cruise

Any suggestions for Barcelona hotels? Or places to avoid? Which neighborhoods should we be considering? or eliminating?

We will be staying in Barcelona for two nights before our cruise leaves the port.

The best advice I can give you is to check out a website called cruise critic. This site has tons of information on cruises and all the different ports/cities including hotels. You can even find out what excursions other cruisers recommend. Where in the Mediterranean will you be visiting? I have info on some ports. We took a Med cruise out of Venice last July. What cruise line?
