I've heard great things about this makeup and was wondering if anyone uses it? I am a liquid foundation girl practically every day for the coverage so I wondered if this covered like that or better?
Also, where did everyone buy theirs? I see QVC sells it and some websites...it is a bit expensive, Ulta also sells it, again expensive. Anyone recommend what to get...a starter kit with what in it??!?
Thanks! =)

Re: Bare Minerals Makeup
I got it from the girl who does my hair. Then she said everyone else was asking her to get it so she won't do it anymore. She got it from a friend who ordered it from the shopping network. I really like it. Its very light and easy to use. I think I got about 5 or 6 different powders and some brushes to go with it.

Thanks Sue...QVC doesn't seem to sell a 'starter' kit but other websites do and they are about $60-$100+!!!

Re: Bare Minerals Makeup
is Bare Minerals the same as Bare Escuentials (SP?) If so, I use it --- it is GREAT.
All natural ingredients, and its doesn't make my skin break out. In my opinion it leaves your skin looking flawless (and I have MANY flaws, so this is no easy feat!)
When I bought the starter kit last year, I think I paid close to $100 for it. I simply cannot remember the website. But I've bought replacements from the QVC site. Trust me $100 is not a lot -- it lasts A LONG TIME. You use VERY little power for your foundation .. actually for those who've never used it before, I would suggest getting the instructional video. There is a knack to applying it, and its tempting to put a lot more power than you need (I did that in the beginning). When you overdo it with this prouduct, you wind up looking worse, not better.
The only drawback is that my vanity in the bathroom is a mess everyday from the powder .. but the results are worth it

Felicia...thanks for the info...yes I think it is the same, I figured that out this morning doing a search. Problem is I can't find that starter kit on QVC, only other websites...

Re: Bare Minerals Makeup
Try this link
I don't know if the price is the best, but its their official website. Seems reasonable, though:
Thanks...I hit the motherload on Ebay, man, now I don't know what to choose!

Re: Bare Minerals Makeup
I go to Ulta for mine~ this is the best make-up I have ever used. I have stopped breaking out and it doesn't melt off like reg. foundation~has awesome coverage. I really only use the foundation, the concealing powder, and the mineral veil. I have the eyeshadows too, but I will really use any other brand for other make-up I need.

Re: Bare Minerals Makeup
Brianne, I thought I saw that you had posted that you loved BE in the past. SO nothing is exciting about their eyeshadows, it is more the power foundation, etc?!

I don't use the foundation, but love the eyeliners. They are also a powder and last for so long.
