bare with me for a moment please

So... i have 7 girls in total in my BP FH has 6 but wants another one my sister who will be 12 by the time we get married is going to be my Jr BM but FH asked me today if he can put his 7th friend partnered with my sister. I find this a bit weird because my sister is soo young and his friend well is like 30! will be 31 next year.

What do you think about this situation?? what should he do if he really wants to have him in the bridal party??

Another situation....on of my good friends is planning to have a baby probably around my wedding...she has never given me any negatives about being in my bridal party and she was really honored that i asked her but I've been thinking and seriously if she will be pregnant i think i will be a hassle so I will have a conversation with there and let her know that not to feel pressure because I really wouldn't be mad if she steps out... but if she does now 2 of my FH's friends will be left without partners.... OMG THIS IS GETTING INTENSE! lol

HELP!!

Why not just double up? FH has 6 and I have 8. I have two MOH's, so FH's best man will be with both of them, and then I'll double up one more pair.

Or......you could have each BM walk alone also instead of doing partners.

im gonna have like 9 BMs and my FH might have like 5 GM max....im just gonna double up on some.

its not a big deal to me.

im sure no one will mind either way you do it.

i think its fine to have an uneven number

however, i dont think its appropriate to have a 12 year old with a 31 year old

i think it would be a little weird if you lil sis and fh friend get paired up ( i would imagine that the friend would feel awkward as well!).... is there any younger gm to put her with?

also if your friend steps out as bm you can always double bms to one gm (this is would be less awkward for your sister i think if she is paired with another bm and a gm)

We are having an uneven amount. I am having 7 and he is having 5. We are also having my two ten year old cousins walk down together as sort of jr bm and gm. If you'd really like your sister to be in the wedding, she can either walk by herself or maybe another young relative?

This might be a weird question...but how old does your sister look? If she's 12 but looks 17, then its fine...but if she looks 8, then I think it might look a little weird.

FH's nephew will be 16 and he is a groomsman, and will be paired with one of my friends who will be 26 at the time.....but his nephew looks he is 20yrs old not 16.

my bridal party is also uneven so don't worry about it. i do think your 12 year old sister should be a jr bridesmaid. i love the dresses they have for them.

as for your friend who may be pregnant at the time of your wedding, you should give her the option. make her understand that you would love for her to be in the bridal party but you fully understand if its too much with being pregnant.

Thats what I am doing I have 2 MOH's and he had 1 BM all 3 will walk to gether.

We will also have to double up most! He has almost double me!!

I don't mind having her walk down by herself i seriously feel weird about this lol my sister will be 12 and she looks 12 I THINK ITS WEIRD if FH's friend walks with her I just don't have anyone else for him!! and i don't want to hurt FH's feelings! I AM STUCK! lol

i agree with you. my half sister will be 15 and i have no one her age. i didnt want her paired with one of the older guys..
i was thinking about having her walk in first before all the bridesmaids on her own.
im sure ill change my mind 30000 times until then tho

Definitely have the JR BM walk by herself. It would be very weird with an older GM. You can always double up. But, I wouldn't worry until it gets closer to the wedding. It always works itself out.

Colleen and I argue about this because I think its weird if they are not both equal... No weird, but I think it looks better if its even... So the whole time I've had 6 and she's had 5.... Now she has 7 and I have 6... LoL... One of hers is her little sister who will be 14 and I think will just walk down with one of my groomsmen... I don't think that will be a big deal...
