Bargain dresses!

Bargain dresses!

A client of mine has a client of her's who owns her own bridal boutique. I don't know if you all remember probably about a year ago a bridal store in Patchogue went under and had to foreclose on her store. Long story short, she had all of these dresses to sell and plans to move to Florida in a few months. She rented out a space in the Bellport Outlets and has been selling all of these dresses that are left over all year. Well, she's closing the store and moving off to Florida in a couple of weeks so she's selling all of her wedding dresses for under $100! Too good to be true? Nope! This client of mine who gave me the tip happens to be getting married in Oct and purchased a GORGEOUS dress from her for $200 (before she marked them all down to under $100). I personally haven't been because I just don't have the time... but I thought it might be a helpful hint for all those looking for a bargain. If anyone goes, please let me know how it is and how you did.

Re: Bargain dresses!

My FSIL went and said they had very little. She said the dresses were dirty and they were all samples that were ripped and looked tattered. I wouldn't go anyway just because this woman screwed over so many brides-I wouldn't give her any business.

Re: Bargain dresses!

I heard the place wasn't the greatest, but I didn't hear that about the dresses. It's terrible how all of those brides got so screwed over but according to my client (who used her and is a client of hers) said that this woman was trying to sell the business but got screwed over herself and was forced to foreclose on her place. It's a shame... but thanks for the tip on the quality of the dresses. Check out the Brides Helping Brides forum to see what some of them had to say.
