Bargaining with photographers
Re: Bargaining with photographers
We are using Artisan Photography. We went to seven photographers before chossing him. We had some pretty high demands in terms of the number of pictures in the album we wanted, wanting to be able to do anything with those pictures we wanted without paying extra later, the type of album, extra pictures for family....yadda, yadda, yadda. We went once, got what the package cost and what it came with, went home and decided if he'd do everything else we wanted, we'd book him. So we went in again and said, if you can do all these other things for us, we'll book you right now. He through them all in for only $100 more, and others asked for much more for the same things! We are very happy with our photography package and we started off having a very difficult time agreeing and finding someone to add one everything without asking for our first born as well.

So far this has been the hardest thing to get. Everything is very expensive, and you will be dealing with these people AFTER the wedding, so make sure you are comfortable with them. Im still looking and have seen 3 so far. Im going to keep on looking until I find something affordable that includes what we want!!!

I got a lot of extra's thrown in. Honestly, they were all things that I needed and I was willing to pay for, but when I asked about them at Duet, they said, 'Sure, we'll throw them into the package for you'. WOW! I was so excited!

We ended up booking with Twelfth Night. Since my FI is a graphic artist he is going to design our album when the pix are done and that is saving us almost half (or more!) of the album cost cuz we won't be paying for labor! :) We also love his work so we are very happy! Can't wait to take our engagement pictures :)
