So I am looking to have my wedding reception in a Barn on long island. I am looking to have about 150ppl invited and I have looked at Hallockville which i would need a tent, Heritage center in mt sinai which is too small, Benners Farm but they havent gotten back to me. I want the rustic theme and I want to bring my own food vendor in and beer vendor. I also looked at Martha Clara but dont like there food vendors. Please if anyone has any good barn or anything other information that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if you're willing to go to Queens, but I really liked the Queens County Farm Museum. My coworkers daughter couldn't find a barn she liked on LI so she ended up getting married in PA.

Have you looked into The Old Bethpage Restoration Village? They have a space that looks like a barn.

You didn't like Christopher Michael? Their food is great and the owner is super nice! I thought they're recommended by Martha Clara, but MC is really expensive!

I was going to say the same thing! They have a barn in old bethpage that's great. My fiancé is an event planner and has planned many weddings there! He's shown me pictures and they look awesome. He just did a wedding there a couple of weeks ago. Definitely let me know if you need more info. Or I can give you his work phone # and you can give him a call!

Thanks all, I looking for more of good BBQ for food. We love BBQ and want to go with that theme. There are caterers that I looked at and not really finding any that I can use. I would love to have Bobbiques in Patchogue cater my event but need to find a barn that can fit 150 people and have my own vendors come like for food and beer/wine.

my FSIL is having her wedding at the queens county farm museum. She's doing more of the BBQ feel as well included a pig roast.

I just asked my fiancé about it. The barn at bethpage can hold up to 250 people. And they can actually cater bbq food for you. But the only thing is, you have to use their vendors and caterer's.

I know that the barn can hold up to 250 and you dont have to use their vendors or caterers, there is a $25 per person buy-ouy.

I am having my reception at Queens County Farm- the barn hold 120, but you could rent a tent and have it at another location on the farm.
