So i went to go pick up my veil today cuz i have my final fitting tomorrow.....i drove all the way there only to be told it will be done NEXT week!

I will be back home in FL next week!!! what good does it do me then! I ordered it in march! you cant tell me that it takes that long to make or that they wait until the week of to do it?!

and of course my mom cannot find the paper with the date on it but we BOTH remember him saying the first week of june......

I am very sad

im getting married up here...it wont do me any good to have it in FL.....i just wanted it for my fitting....im just disapointed that it should have been done....

that stinks when you think you are going to get something accomplished and then it doesn't happen.....plus you are not local - which makes it more disappointing...but..it will work out and you will have it soon enough!

That *****, but I do remember they write the date on the receipt, too bad you didn't bring it with you.

It's ok though, you don't NEED it for your fitting like you need your bra and shoes. It'll be ok.

Oh wow - I am so sorry :( Maybe they can mail it to you, or your mom can pick it up for you? That really stinks

yea deff im here till sunday. i dont know what your weekend looks like or what not....when will you be in suffolk?

yea and my mom can get it i just wont get to try it on with my dress and all till the wedding

yeah dont worry about not having it for your fitting. I didnt pick up my veil until the day before my wedding and i never had it for any of my fittings and it was fine. It will be a little surprise for you the day of to see yourself all done up as a bride, something to look forward to.

yea it will be nice...i was just looking forward to it and he said the begining of june :( so i was just a litte disapointed...not to mention the rental car place messed up and had to give me an SUV instead so it ***** gas....in fl we are still under 4 a gallon i almost threw up when i saw the prices here!!!

They do not seem to keep a record of that! I just called them today to ask them to change the color of the trim on my veil (they asked when i was told to pick it up and i just happened to remember, though my mom has the receipt) - which I just b*tched about on here the other day, asking why when I ordered it early May it's not going to be ready until Sept. 6? Mine is very plain and simple, nothing about is special, seriously. I hope they can ship it to you.

I don;t understand why they give such dates and can't do it sooner. I ordered my veil in April. There is a pick up date of 7/25. I called them today to see if I could pick it up 2 weeks sooner-still giving them a month from now and they said NO! It is already paid in cash, so I guess they are not in a rush. They said I can get it the 18th-a Friday. It is about an hour ride each we and now we have to go after work. The hair trial is Sat the 19th.

Sorry this is happening to you.

Maybe they're overwhlemed with a lot of orders...after all, every time someone asks about where to get a veil or headpiece on LIW, Barrons is ALWAYS mentioned.

he said it was done...he just wanted to look it over...im like so look it over tonight and let me cme pick it up!! it is 'supposed' to be due on the 20th according to his book...you cant tell me that htey wait till the week before to make it
