Hey everyone...I'm going veil shopping this weekend. I was thinking of going to Barron's at Tri-County since so many people on this site have used them.
Does anyone know how long it takes for the veil to come in once it's ordered? Also, do they have lots of sample veils to try on?
I also need a tiara...how's their selection?
My other option is to go te Fantasyland in Patchogue, but I haven't heard much feedback on them.
Thanks.

I vote for Fantasyland in Patchogue...they have a huge selection of tiara's and veils. There are a lot of things there. I wish you luck wherever you go!

Re: Barron's at Tri-County
I ordered my veil from Barron's and she basically asked me when I wanted it and she had it ready for that day. I chose a day a couple of months away though because I didn't want to have it for too long before my dress came in. They have a good selection of sample veils and a decent selection of tiaras. Have fun!

Re: Barron's at Tri-County
It took about 2 weeks for my veil to be finished...they did have veils that you could try on but I basically told them the length I wanted and exactly how I wanted it and she made it. I also tried the place in patchogue but I wasn't really crazy about their selection

Re: Barron's at Tri-County
I tried on a few veils, but then basically told her exactly what i wanted. It came out perfect. It didn't take too long, but I didn't need it right away.
The Tiara selection is great. I was worried that i would buy one and it wouldn't look good with my dress. she said that i could exchange it until i found one that looked good. i didn't have to, mine looks perfect, but that made me feel better.
they were great, and she always got back to me right away when i called to see if the veil was in.
Definately go to Barrons! Yana is a sweetheart and her son works there too. She has alot of tiaras and quite a few veils to try on. And when I asked how long before the wedding I would have to order my veil she said 'Dont worry! I will have it in time.'

i vote for barrons my veil was hand beaded to match the beads on my dress and she also made my tiara bigger and it only took a few weeks for her to both

Re: Barron's at Tri-County
Barron's gets my vote.
I ended up not liking the first veil that she made for me - not Yana's fault - I just wanted it fuller after I tried it on. She made me another one, no questions asked, and had it ready exactly when I wanted it (within a week), and it was PERFECT.
Yana is dynamite. Tri-County Market Booth A-4 516-476-1222

My MOH and I were also there tonight also to look for tiaras and veils. Great selection, very helpful and good prices. Excellent find! Thanks to all my LIW friends for the great referral.

Re: Barron's at Tri-County
I have been to both places and I chose to purchase at Barron's. She had a slightly larger selection to tiara's and a great diversity of non-rhinestone/crystal pieces as well as combs, hair pins etc.
Yana's said I could exchange mine as well if I was not happy with the look of the headpiece with my dress, which isn't even in yet
Cost I thought was very fair, I had my heart set on a long veil and she charged $70 for a chapel length veil w/blusher. Great in comparison to what the bridal salon was charging!!!!
Good Luck with whichever place you find your veil at!!!

The cheapest I have seen so far thats for sure. I honestly dont think you can get cheaper tiaras but the important thing is that the quality is very good.
