OK Ladies, I am a Queens girl so I have never heard of this TriCounty place but it seems to be very popular for head pieces and veils. Is this place just a Kiosk or is it a store? Has anyone shopped there?

I think it's a 'store' in the flea market...Somewhere by the front entrance doors...

yeah it's a little both. TriCounty is right on Hempstead typke in Levittown. Parking in front (hempstead typke side) has minimal parking so u might have to park in the back. If that's so just walk straight across and it's RIGHT by the front entrance. Booth A-4
you can take the SS to the Wantagh E and get off at Hemptstead typke going E. It's on your left

i've been there...barron's is the largest booth with veils and stuff but there are other ones in there....i'm waiting for my dress to come in so i can give him a swatch so he can match the color and make the veil.

Don't forget to haggle a bit.
My sis was trying on things @ Kleinfelds that were $600-700 each. So when she went to Barron's and they told her $80, she was thrilled. We later found out that she probably could have talked them down a little more. Her headpiece plus veil came to about $190 total.
If you pay cash they don't charge you tax, so bring cash because you have to put 50% down, I think.

Holy Crap, I do not understand where places like Kleinfelds get off charging 700-1000 dollars for a piece of tulle attached to a comb.
Barron's really sounds fantasic and affordable. Thanks so much for the info.

The worst part of it is that you are never using this stuff again. Unless, you feel like cleaning the house as a princess one day.
my jewler has a place in the city and in tri county totally love it there/./.. got our bands there...

Re: Barron's at TriCounty
There are other bridal vendors at tricounty as well. I personally like Barrons better, I felt like they had more things I liked, but don't forget to check out the others, you never know what you'll find.
Also, Tri county has a lot of other vendors there like the 'mirror' lady where I bought my BM's personalized key chains that are mirror like (i don't know what she's called, but you can't miss it if you pass it) and I am going to get their totes airbrushed and maybe hoodies/tank tops embroidered there by other vendors.
I suggest when you do go, look all around. The floor map may be confusing a little but there are tons of good finds everywhere.
Also the 'good' jewlery , I'm talking about the gold stuff, not just the serling silver and costume jewlry is upstairs along with a dress store.
