Can anyone tell me if it's worth the trip to Barron's? I live in eastern suffolk, and attias is closer....for veils, and jewelry?
Thanks!

Re: Barrons Tri County vs. Attias in Sayville
I went to Barrons in Tri County and they have a huge selection of veils and headpieces. I've never been to Attias but Barrons does have alot. I got my head piece and veil there.

Was it that much cheaper than going to a bridal salon? The veil and headpiece I picked is pretty reasonable...$140 for the veil and 150 for the headpiece....was Barron's that much cheaper...and is the quality worth it?
Thanks so much!

Without seeing the veil and headpiece you chose, its hard to say. I was able to get a custom-made veil and my jeweled comb for a total of $150, whereas, I would have had to get a ready-made veil that wasn't exactly what I wanted and a similar comb (that was more over the top than I wanted) for double that. I didn't even bother looking at salons down here where I live b/c I knew it would be over the top.
So for me, the trip from Huntington where my parents live (I actually live in Virginia) was totally worth it.

I actually went to both because I live in eastern suffolk also. I bought my tiara at attias (a booth in the middle) and it worked for me. There are pretty much only two main booths, and maybe one or two more with tiaras and such. If you only want fingertip veils attias will be fine. However, if you want a cathedral veil that is longer than the basic 108 inches you'll have to go elsewhere. The train on my dress is 115 inches long, so I need my veil to be longer, and at barrons, they will accomodate this (for cheaper than i've seen in any bridal salon)

The veil I want was $350 at the bridal salon..Barrons quoted me $35 - 55 and the comb at the bridal salon was $200 Barrons have very similar for $50...I would highly recommend it
I have not been to the place at Attilias but Barrons has a huge selection and will custom make your veil..it is worth the trip...it's really not far, just in Levittown.
I'm live in Queens and have been to both flea markets and hands down, tri-county is better for Jewelry and I know Barrons is a very large vendor there.
