Barron's Vent
I know lots of girls here have had wonderful experiences with Barrons and for the most part my experience wasn't that bad but I just wanted to vent here about what I'm unhappy with. I worked with the lady there - I don't know her name. She really did try her hardest to 'get' what I wanted. I think her lack of English really affected my outcome. I showed her my DOJ - which is a Thomas Knoell bracelet and earrings. They have golden shadow rhinestones in them along with crystals and regular rhinestones. I explained that I'd like the same colors in my headpiece and she showed me small rhinestones that were a very close match to what was in my DOJ.
When I went to pick it up in August it didn't have any of the golden shadow color. As a matter of fact, it looked NOTHING like the headpiece I described - there was a similar one in the case so I told her what I'd want to change on that one. I asked her to see the one I had first explained about when I came to pick up my (very wrong) headpiece and she said they sold it. Not five feet away I saw the headpiece and pointed it out. When I explained to her what I wanted different all of a sudden it was no no no she can't do it like this. I compromised and then told her to just put the golden shadow colored (like a very light gold) rhinestones in my headpiece.
I picked it up on Saturday and the rhinestones that were supposed to be this light gold color are DARK ORANGISH-BROWN! I was so frustrated that I just said it was fine and walked out. Now I have to find rhinestones in the exact size of these ugly ones and attempt to take these off and replace with the normal clear looking ones.
This is just what I need with 25 days left.
My advice for any girls who would go there to get a headpiece is to make your requests as simple as possible. If you try to make all kinds of changes, you may end up unhappy like me!
