Looking for some good bars in NYC for a bachelor party. Just want a bar to hang out not a club with techno music . just a bar to hang in that has a good crowd any suggestions would be great.

Here are some sports bars and other bars i have been to that arent so bad. Blondies is a great sportsbar as well on the upper east side

Heard ESPN zone was really cool, also a bunch of awesome irish bars on third ave in the 20's

Depends on what your looking for, I think.
I'm a big fan of Nevada Smith's as a place to throw down a few and watch a game. Brother Jimmy's has a few spots around the city, barbeque and booze if you're into that. Down the Hatch is always fun in the village. My own personal favorite bar in the city these days is Dive Bar on the UWS, great food and an awesome selection of beer and booze.

Molly Pitcher's on the Upper East Side is great and has a backroom you can rent out and it has seperate bar and bathrooms ... holds under 100

i've heard that ESPN zone is cool....u can actually rent out an area that's a bunch of leather recliners in front of HUUUUUUGE plasma tv's and get waited on from there!
