Trying to put personal feelings aside, who do you think is going to win each division and the wild card?
My picks:
AL East: Yankees, with the Sox giving them a run until August AL Central: White Sox AL West: Rangers
Wild Card: Angels, possibly the A's if the big three can pull it together.
NL East: Phillies. I think the Marlins might keep it close and the Mets-yes I said the Mets might keep it close as well if they can make some trades for bullpen and starting pitching. NL Central: Astros hand down NL West: Padres
Wild Card: Cubs
Anyone else care to share their feelings?

I haven't followed the standings just yet but I think this could be the Cubs year.....they have an amazing line up and their pitching is amazing.
I think the diamondbacks could go to the playoffs

I think you are pretty on, although it's kind of early to tell. I do think the Marlin's are going to beat out the Phillies, and I would go with Oakland for the Wild Card.... How about Cubs/Marlins for the World Series?

Yanks (unfortunately) Twins Angels WC-BoSox
Marlins - bring back healthy Burnett to bring them into 1st (can't tell if I am not puttin gmy personal feelings aside here - I am not a big fan of the Phillies and I love the youth on the Marlins.) Astros/Cubs - can't decide SF - total wild pick here - let's see a resurgance of a healthy Bonds (please - he is on my fantasy team even though I can't stand him)
WC - Phillies or Cubs
Personal - I can hope again for a BoSox/Cubbie World Series! I really would love to see that.
PS I am a huge Mets fan - and it pains me to see I really can't see them in any of the above.

I actually agree with all of your picks, thugh I don't follow the race in the other divisions aside from the AL East and NL East.
Yankees will probably win, but (and I know this is going to make me look like a bitter Met fan), Boston is going to fight them till the end and something tells me that this might be their year. After all, the curse can't last forever.
As for the NL, Phillies are the faves, but Florida will be back and don't count the Mets out yet. They still have time to surprise.
We were at that thrilling come from behind win on Tuesday. But, alas, just as we get some confidence, we throw up an 11-4 stinker like yesterday and waste one of Steve Trachsel's best outings on Wednesday.

I agree that Boston will hang till the end. But I think come the end of August and September, they'll slowly start to slip out of it. You know Pedro has to get hurt at some point. I don't think the wild card will come out of the east. The division is too hard right now. The West is a little easier and those teams will probably have better records.
I also think the Mets should not be counted out. They need to make some trades in order to be a contender but that division is not at all strong and if they can hang around .500 ball and make one or two pick ups they'll be able to compete for a playoff spot.
