Some of you might already know but there has been a 10 month investigation and today there will be a press conference that will reveal all the names of the baseball players that they found out through this investigation, are using steroids ...i don't know but i find it a bit weird to have to name all of them on television but whatever.

Of course new yorkers are waiting to see what mets and yankees players are on the list. Any predictions?

We knew about Pettitte and Clemens last year due to the Jason Grimsley affidavit.

Roger Clemens October 2006
Reportedly Used: ‘Performance-Enhancing Drugs’
The Story: Clemens was one of the redacted names from the Jason Grimsley Affidavit. In the affidavit, Grimsley told investigators he obtained amphetamines, anabolic steroids and hGH from a person recommended to him by, Brian McNamee strength and conditioning coach of Clemens and Andy Pettitte. Grimsley later named Clemens specifically as a user of ‘performance-enhancing drugs.’ Clemens’ name was revealed in an Oct. 1, 2006 Los Angeles Times Article entitled Clemens Is Named in Drug Affidavit.

Very hard to believe about Petite and Damon--cuase they didn't bulk up or anything. I am disappointed.
I am also surprised that ARod is not on there esp after the year he had--I thought this guy would accuse him for that.

they dont just accuse ppl, they tested them and investigated so its not like they would call out arod just for his performance, they can't do that or else there would be alot of trouble...this has been an ongoing investigation and they had an outside company do the drug testing

I totally expected Andy Pettit - that one wasn't really news, it had been talked about before. A few of those are shocking though.

And I don't think Piazza will be on there. He was always big, always had a sick bat - but never a strong thowing arm.

I think they should have let the past be the past and got strict going forward. BUT there is also accountability - and I think its good for kids to learn to that if you do something wrong, there will be consequences

I'm just going to wait until 2. Sometimes I feel people jump the gun. I have WFAN on now and they say some of the reports coming in are false..

I hope there are no current Mets players on there.

They are confirming Roger Clemens and Andy Pettite so we'll see..

I don't think Pettite is a surprise and that is why he signed his big contract with the Yanks before this came out. An hour to go!

with old players it can be things that were confirmed in the past...many times it was just known and out there, and then you also have those that supplied the players that can give names. who knows i guess we'll find out in an hour

oh yeah there will be more...its supposed to be about 80 players...who knows what can be revealed, wonder if there will be some real big shockers on it
