Hi Everyone! I am getting married July 2010. I am a HUGE Mets fan and my soon 2 be Hubbz is a Yankee fan. We wanted to have a baseball themed wedding.
Any ideas? I have been looking around online but I am stuck! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

there is an 07 girl who had a yankees theme wedding in CLM... you can find her review in the brides review. There is also an 09 bride NYMETS that is planning a mets theme wedding

im doing some hockey themed things for the wedding (in july 2010 too!)
we are having the bridal party hold up hockey sticks to make a tunnel for us to walk through when we get introduced into the reception. you could do baseball bats. my colors are blue and some ornage and white. islander colors. we are coming into the reception with the islander goal song playing.

I have seen yankees garder belts (sorry I never look at Mets things) and you can have a Yankees/Mets grooms cake made! There is alot of this you could do and still keep things very classy and elegant!

i'm incorporating a lot of yankee stufff in my wedding. my colors are navy blue and white...the bridal party will come out to the song that plays when the yankees take the field, and the table numbers will be those that are in monument park. i'm sure there are some mets things out there, but i dont know where. other baseball stuff i might be able to give some suggestions.

Thats cute. Maybe you can do something with the favors that involve baseball? Like have baseballs with your names on it as favors.

we 're having a small football theme to our wedding.
we're doing football place cards, our tables will be named after players from his favorite team, and the actual place cards will be the jerseys of that player. the bridal party is running out with footballs and the backs of their vests are going to have theuir names and a number sewn on like a jersey. we're also being annoucned in to the football theme song, i forget from which channel

when we went to see our venue there was a yankees wedding going on. their colors were navy and white, the girls were in navy dresses with white and yellow flowers. each table had a yankees camera on it, and for favors they gave out beer steins with peanuts and cracker jacks, it looked kinda cute.
