Our shower wall is soft in 1 place and we need to retile , our contractor has been constantly blowing us off, so I have been thinking of doing the bath enclosure . Does anyone have this? Is it worth it? Easy to maintain ? And who did you use? We do not want to go broke over doing this, this is the spare bathroom downstairs that not many people see.

When we decided to redo our master bath we looked into BathFitter. It seemed to be a good idea but then we realized that they just put the stuff over the old wall and you still have problems underneath. We ended up deciding to just redo the whole bathroom and it's a good thing that we did. We discovered that there was a leak between the window and the wall and our whole wall had rotted right down to the vinyl siding. If one of us had leaned against the wall too hard we would have fallen out of the second story of our house. I can give you the name of my contractor if you would like. He does excellent work.
