Do you girls think I need them...or are they just a nice touch but no one really uses them?

Re: Bathroom baskets
I think it's somewhere in the middle. No, you don't need to do them but yes, everyone appreciates it if you do.

Re: Bathroom baskets
I was actually pretty PO'd that my hall does not provide them on their own. Really, how much am I paying you and I have to put hairspray, tampons, and mints out.
To answer your question, it's better to have it than not.

Re: Bathroom baskets
I do not think they are necessary, but they are a nice touch if your hall does not have them. I will do them , but then I like everyone to have what they need in emergencies.....(obsessive)

Re: Bathroom baskets
I'm doing them. I think its a nice idea.
ETA: I've been picking up stuff along the way. I got nice baskets lined with linen from Walmart and some other things from the dollar store-hair brush, comb, eyeglass repair kit ect.

little trial sizes of hairspray, spray deodorant, feminine hygiene products, mouthwash or mints, clear nail polish, sewing kit, etc. If you really want to go all out, you can get monogrammed paper towels too.

How many metrosexuals are you inviting. J/k - I just never thought I would get to use that word at all. Wooo hoooo. If you are gonna do the one, you might as well do the other.

They're may not be room in the men's room- they don't always have a big counter like a ladie's room.
i may do a ladies room oen, but I have to see if the potty attendamt has her own, first. my mom &aunt realy want to do one, so if there isn't one. I'll let them handle it.

Re: Bathroom baskets
Since there is more than one wedding at my hall, my FMIL is putting one together for the bridal suite..I def. think it's a nice touch.
I think my hall my have some stuff out in the main bathroom though...you might want to check and see if your wedding hall has stuff out already?

Re: Bathroom baskets
I made one just for the ladies room. We had an attendent and she had a basket, but honestly it looked horrible and everything looked used so I wanted to make a nicer one for my guests. I really appreciate it when I see it and find some of the items very useful. A few people commented to me they liked mine. And I am thinking more people liked the goodies since all I got back at the end of the night was the basket and a comb!!
ETA our hall had multiple weddings so I put our names and a saying out our basket. But whoever uses it, uses it. At least my guests will see it!
