Re: Bathroom Baskets
If you do a search for bathroom baskets you will probably pull up a whole bunch. For mine I am going to put:
Baby wipes Tide to go stick Advil/Tylenol Immodium Gum Mints Hairspray Sewing kit Visine Condoms Hair Ties

Re: Bathroom Baskets
In the ladies baskets:
mini sewing kit, spray deotorant, advil, tampons, pads, hairspray, mouthwash, clear nail polish, lotion, floss, Shout stain remover pads, visine....
In the guys basket: combs, hair gel, Axe body spray, mouthwash, advil, floss, lotion. visine, i cant remember what else.
JMO -- but I wouldnt put condoms in the baskets. I dont think the older people would appreciate that and it really is kind of inappopriate. It'll bring the elegance level down to a minimum

I was wondering about that also- in theory i think it is smart, however, i surely woulnd't want my 15 year old male cousin to see it and think sex is a good idea bc i supplied him w/ something safe...
What does everyone else think? Is it savvy or a faux pas?

I dont even think its that much of an issue with the younger children there. The thing is....why in G-d's name would anyone NEED a condom during your reception? Plus, it would end up being the talk of the wedding between all the guys

Exactly! If someone was getting busy at my reception, I'd be really offended. That's so innapropriate!

JMHO, Giant faux pas. Sorry, I think putting condoms in the bathroom baskets is really tacky.

If you want them, you usually have to provide them (though check with your hall). You certainly don't *have* to provide them, though!

Oh ok.So it's not considered tacky not to have them? I mean the wedding is such short time frame and weddings Ive been to, I dont recall anyone using anything in the baskets.
Oh and as far as the condoms, TOTALLY innappropriate-might need someone on hand to resucitate the old folks!

Re: Bathroom Baskets
So sorry.... but no condoms!
Forget the guys joking around, if I were a guest, I'D BE JOKING AROUND!!!!
to me, it's suggesting that random hook-ups will occur between single guests... Or WORSE, the bridal couple is encouraging random hook-ups... not exactly classy.... and I know that's NOT your intent!!!!

Re: Bathroom Baskets
My party is going to be a younger crowd of mostly our friends. It is not for the wedding - it is for my eparty. It is a cocktail party from 8-12a.m. There are not going to be any children or old people and I am going to put condoms in the mens room baskets. Whatever, these are baskets for any situation that may arise, lol.
