Bathroom Baskets?

Ladies, would someone be kind enough to explain? I've never heard of this custom, here in Lancaster County. Thanks! Mary MOB

Re: Bathroom Baskets?

Sometimes, brides will put together bathroom baskets for the ladies and mens room that contain various items a guest may need throughout the night. These items can include anything from clear nail polish, mints, dental floss, safety pins, stain treater, tampons, spray on deoderant, body spray, facial blotting tissues, etc. There's often a cute poem that is displayed with the basket as well. It's completely a personal decision to provide them. I personally will not be. Hope that helps!

Thanks!! Is this pretty much the thing to do at Long Island weddings? Would we be rude if we didn't do this? Mary

Not at all! Of all of the weddings I've been to, I think 1 provided the bathroom baskets. Don't feel like you would be rude not to provide them.

You are also getting married at a place that may have 2 weddings at the same time. So I dont think that is is necessary. I have only seen them 2x both at places that there was only 1 wedding. Because the guests from both weddings will be using the stuff.

Good think'in!! I believe there's another wedding at Chateau La Mer, right after Deb's.
