I think I'm going to make these up. My friend did them for her wedding and they came in really handy. I'm going to fill two baskets (one for each bathroom) with 'emergency' stuff like hairspray, tide sticks, gum, etc...

its just little things for your guest to use like lotions, advil, tampons. I want a basket but I don't want to make one. maybe one of my lazy bridesmaid to do it.

Re: Bathroom Baskets??
my florist is making a bathroom display.. i told him it wasn't necessary because other functions would be using the bathroom.. i own't be doing a bathroom basket for this same reason.. if i was in a one function venue maybe.. but with other weddings going on, i'm not trying to supply gum and hairspray to the entire female population of the reception hall.

Re: Bathroom Baskets??
We have rotating baskets. In FH's 'group' whenever one of the guys gets married one of us girls does them for the bathroom. I will be the 4th bride to use them.

I wonder if mine does! I have to add that to the list of questions to ask them next week when I finalize my menu.

I was told that the Fox Hollow provides them for you. I really hope they do b/c if not i'm gonna be ticked off... it's the one 'little detail' that's important to me. Bathroom baskets have saved my butt several times at weddings, they are the best thing ever lol

I love doing stuff like this, if your bridesmaids won't do it, throw me the stuff and i'll make it for you!

Re: Bathroom Baskets??
just shop the travel size bin at walmart...that should work!
ETA: You don't even have to use 'baskets'...for the boy's bathroom, use a cigar box, for the girls bathroom get a pretty hat box maybe....or play into any theme you may have

Re: Bathroom Baskets??
I think I am going to do something...fill a basket with crap from the dollar store and wallmart.
Halls may provide them if they have a bathroom attendant.

Re: Bathroom Baskets??
I am planning on doing bathroom baskets for my reception. MY RH does not provide them, but I've personally been to receptions where they were in the bathroom and it was a nice touch!! I was going to use baskets from the dollar /craft store(dressed up w/ a ribbon) and stock them with items inexpenisve items. I also was going to include a little poem about the basket.
Some of my items are going to include: Motrin Shout Stain Wipes Sewing repair kit Travel size deodorant Travel size hairspray Breath mints Tampons Nail file ect.....
Here is a photo posted by 'Cali' on her bathroom baskets. Hope this helps

I might do them.. But if I do, it will be very last minute.. Its not necessary to me and we dont have any money to begin with.. but if I decide to last minute.. Ill go up to dollar tree and spend maybe 20 bux!

Re: Bathroom Baskets??
I work for an RH and we dont have them but many brides make them and the ladies room ones are always empty at the end of the night. The mens room is barely touched!
