i dont think its necessary. i dont know how many people actually use the stuff....that would be a good question for girls that got married who did them.
im not really doing them. i dont want them to really be out and visible cuz i think they take away from the bathroom decor.
but i think my hall said they have them if we need them...so if someone asks the attendant...they would be able to get stuff for them.

I think I am skipping them- the only thing that I ever used was hair spray once & if it hadnt been there, I would have done without- most women carry what they need with them and like someone else said, most men wouldnt even notice

I'm doing them, but most likely just for the women. Men don't notice that stuff, but girls appreciate it (at least me and my friends have at weddings we've been to).

We did them---and people thought they were a great idea. Plus whatever wasn't used---came in handy when the hall gave it back to us, and we used a lot of the trial size stuff on our HM .

Me too. I did one for the girls room.
Honestly I spent about $20. I had a basket and got a bunch of stuff at the dollar store! Its not too much but just enough...see my pic in DIY album!

Yeah figured I would spend around that to throw something together and I will leave it there after I know there are more weddings there that weekend if someone wants to use it!

i'm doing them but only because my reception is at a vineyard and they dont supply ANYTHING in the bathroom.
plus i'm putting stuff in there i know i'll be using for myself.

my hall provided ours because they have more than one event at a time. I dont think you have to have them, but I think on LI they are expected. but if you dont want to do it, then dont. No one would really care!
I think the only thing that might be missed (for woman) if you dont do them, is the unexpected need for a tampon. Other than that, I dont think anyone would care if u didn't do them.
I made really nice bathroom baskets, i put every single thing u could imagine...I have leftover, and its good because i can use all that stuff, but alot of people swiped good stuff from it.
I spent 200 total on the good for the baskets

I didnt do them, and it didnt seem like they were missed. The OOT boxes were a huge hit and Im glad I focused on those!

Gina, were they in the ones at the Fox Hollow? Or should I make up a little basket of these type of things?
