Bathroom Flooring

Bathroom Flooring

Does anyone have either hardwood or laminate wood flooring in their bathroom? I had Pergo floors in my condo (not in Bathroom), which I LOVED!

I was under the impression you could use them in kitchens and baths, but now people are telling me it's a bad idea, what with the humidity levels and such. I really want a hardwood look in the bath -- anyone have it?

I was just recently told by someone that Pergo is not good for anyplace with persistant moisture. Same problem with real hardwood floors. The materials warp over time.

Pergo will definately warp in the bathroom!!! They do make a porceilin tile that has a wood look to it. It was very expensive and I didn't love it. We just ordered ceramic tiles for the floor and walls. The splash around the bathtub and the steps are going to be granite. They make all different color grouting now so its is interesting to play with.
