Bathroom Remoldeling Question?? Please help!

Hi,

We are in desperate need of getting our bathroom redone before the baby comes... I always see the ads for those one day remoldeling jobs on the bath tubs..

Is it worth it. I know they are expensive... Is it cheaper just to get a new tub? Does anyone have any experience with them?? Thanks,

P.S. We only have one bathroom, so the idea of a one day job sounds GREAT!

My aunt and I were talking about this yesterday. I believe that it can be really expensive to remove a tub. Instead, you can have someone come in and change the color (I forgot what it is called). She said its like $100. They can also do the toliet or even change the color of tiles on the wall. She changed the color of the tub twice and I never noticed. It looks just the same as if she bought a new tub.

It is called reglazing. The also have bathfitters or rebath, which is about $3,000 but it covers everything, including the tiles outside your bathroom.
