bathroom towels

Okay, this is a VERY BORING post I realize that. but it is in desparate need of addressing :)
Our bathroom towels STINK!!
they come out of the dryer smelling so fresh. I put then in the linen closet for literally days and then we use them ONCE and they stink up the bathroom - mildew smell. I don't get it. They are cleaned, used ONCE, by me and DH and then hung up carefully on the shower door and then the SMELL. its a killer mildew smell that literally stinks up the bathroom!! they are never laying anyway, they go form drying us to be carefully hung up.
serioulsy we both comment on it the minute we walk in the bathroom. and the towels are only 2 months old.
and they are good brands.

i don't know what to tell you - that would gross me out!
maybe it's the ventilation in the bathroom...can you hang them elsewhere? perhaps it's the humidity keeping the moisture in the towls?

nothing worse than the smell of mildew on a nice clean towel!

Hi, Moldy in Fort Salonga here ... this doesn't happen all the time (but DH is also sometimes not even good about how he hangs his towel) but I occasionally throw them back in the dryer after we've showered before I leave for work in the AM.

Our bathroom is TINY & stays humid ... very annoying.

i hate having a bathroom with any windows!!
i leave the door open all day long

or hang the towels on a chair to dry
