hey, i was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on bay shore bridal. good experiences, bad ones, etc. i'd really like to go there b/c it's so close and convinient, but they've also been really nice. i'm just worried about alterations. they said that i probably won't need many (maybe just adding cups into it) and that they cap them at 200 just in case, but i'd still like to hear from people with first hand experience. thanks!

Are you talking about Bridal Suite of Bay Shore? If so, I went on saturday just to look at dresses and would you believe I ended up purchasing ONE yayyyy
I delt with Mary Ellen and she is the nicest person ever, she is honest, helpful and she loves her job.

I used them a few times in the past as a BM and again for my wedding gown and the BM's and FG's. I had nothing but great experiences with everyone there. If you look at my review you can see what I posted about them. They all really were great.
I got my dress from them and my best friend got her dress from them and everything was fine. Mary Ellen was great.

thanks. they seemed amazing (i've been working with alexandra who's pretty young but great so far) but i wanted to make sure everything was ok before i ordered.
as for prices they seem to be pretty average. i found my dress online for only $50 cheaper, so you can't really beat that (esp if you live in bay shore - very convenient). i was told that i wouldn't need any (size) alterations unless i wanted to change something about the dress (like add cups) but they also said they usually cap it at $200 for people who need it.
thanks again for all the help girls. makes me feel a little better about dropping so much money on a dress. =0P i think i'm going to go order it in a day or two. yay! =0)
