Bay Shore Bridal Suite anyone?

I am sorry about these questions but it is scary when you are about to spend so much $$ in one place and I am curious about their reputation.... I have only heard great things but anyone

I went to Bay Shore bridal suite and they are able to order my dress... has anyone been there

I have been there once before and swore i would never go back but it was a week after they had a fire and i was unaware... this time the place had so much and my mom wanted to look so i did

I got my bm dress there in Sept. It was ok. You REALLY have to say what you want and if you go for your fitting and the dress isn't altered perfectly, you have to say, 'I want you to fix this and make it like this, etc...' I didn't love them, but it all worked out.

Honestly, I wasn't impressed with their attitude/service when I went. They DO look better since they remodeled. I ended up shopping around and will probably go with Macys Bridal who will match or beat their price.

Also, just FYI, I happened to go to the Wedding Center in Commack and they had the same dresses as Bayshore Bridal for about 15-20 dollars cheaper. If you're buying a few dresses, that adds up.

Ok, I'm partially because I know the owner and my cousin works there, but you do need to ask for what you want and since the fire the new place is beautiful.....my cousin is Jenn, ask for her when you make an appointment, she will make you feel like the most beautiful person in the world..but watch out, she is very honest so if you want a honest opinion on things like how you look you will get it from her, I think she works tues, thursday nights and sundays...

one more thing, remember that when they have sales, they make money on it so if they tell you that you are getting 20% off, in reality they are offering it at 50-60% off but they get the extra money so insist on a better deal..bottom line is they want the sale. ( don;t tell them I told you this though!)

I got my dress and bm dresses there.

They were very nice, but 2 out of 5 bm dresses came in the wrong size, my dress came in the wrong size (but they were able to get the right size quickly) and the alterations were a nightmare- I spent hours there every night the WEEK before my wedding and they could not get it right.

It was VERY stressful. Maybe you could look up my review- fm me if you have any specific questions.

they get a ZERO. fine to buy a dress there if you find it cheaper than anywhere else BUT DO NOT GET ALTERATIONS DONE THERE. it is a nightmare. for a MOH dress ive had to go for FOUR fittings because they havent done the necessary alterations or have messed up the ones they did do.

they blame everything on the garment / fabric and not their own seamstresses work. i have met and dealt with THREE different seamstresses at the fittings and each spun me a different story. the seams from taking the dress out were puckered and obviously not sewn back together properly. they left me with an uneven hem. told me it needed to be taken out 3in and at the next fitting told me it needed to be taken in 3 in! very sloppy work! the bust was sitting about 2 inches from my body and they told me the only solution was double sided tape! i insisted i paid them the$75 cap for alterations plus 220 for the dress i wasnt walking out without the dress being altered to my body the right way! picking up the dress tmw hoping there is some progess the wedding is 2 days away! save yourself the hassle DONT GO HERE!
