Anyone know a ball park range of how much they run to install, and how much they cost in general?

Re: Bay Windows
Hey Lauren,
This is what my mom, a kitchen designer, said:
I don't know, maybe around $1200? Often, a contractor charges the same amount as the cost of the window to install. But, cheaper prices can be found.

Re: Bay Windows
We're getting a bow window installed and it's costing us $1800. This is for 4 windows that open.
A bay window, is 3 windows and it's square in the middle and the middle window does not open. A bow window is like a half moon. It curves all the way thru from one side to another and all windows on a bow open up.
Here are pics: They bay is the first one and the bow is the second picture.

Re: Bay Windows
Lauren: I know But we have to do it. The house still has the original windows and siding. So we're changing everything. It's expensive, but worth it when we try to sell it later on. The guy we went to (a friend of a friend) is also giving us a great deal. We're also redoing the kitchen and hope to redo the bathroom. We're going to be poor after this
ETA: that's not my house in the 2nd pic. It's a pic I got off of google.

Re: Bay Windows
Hi Lauren!
We got a bow window, Anderson, a couple of months ago. I'll have to take a pic to show you, but the cost for the window was $1800 and the cost of installation was $1150. Yikes!!!
It looks amazing tho' and really adds so much to the front of the house. Now, I need to work on that landscaping!
