FH and i are trying to pick a place for our engagement photos and we're not sure which one is nicer or better for pics since they both cost the same for a permit. any opinions on which is nicer? bayard is closer to us since we live in rocky point but we'd make the trip is the planting fields is nicer TIA

They're both really nice. You can do a search on here for pictures to see what you prefer. There are a couple of girls who had their ceremonies at both places, so you should be able to find their pictures.
To me, Bayard seems more 'woodsy' and green. The landscaping at Planting Fields seems to have a lot more flowers and color. It just depends what background you're looking for.
