Bayville Scream Park - Anyone?

Anyone ever been?
Dh and I always go to some Halloween thing every year and usually a different one ever year.

Is this one pretty good? Scary? Recommended?

Yes! I loved it!
The lines are super long, but don't let that scare you off. Its definitely worth it once you're inside and the pricing is reasonable. I'm a huge fan of haunted houses, FH and I try to go to at least 1-2 every weekend in Oct....and the first time I went through their 'haunted mansion', I thought it was pretty intense.

A lot of people say, go to the Bayville Fire Dept.'s haunted 'house' instead, but they make you crawl around through small, dirty spaces and I was NOT having that!
I would also recommend Gateway Playhouse & Darkside in Wading River.

we've never been and have been trying to go every year. let us know how it is if you do go.

Nights of Horror

there are six houses to go to and each is $14.75 but you an buy like a combo pass to go to all of them if you want.

Anyone else who can give me any ideas?

I have been there TWICE and have purchased the tickets for EVERY HOUSE and only ONE of them is worth to pay, the other ons are not even scary...

we have been there and it was great, depends on who you go with.

we just went to the CarnEVIL at old bethpage village and it was great! (FH makes things funny so i was laughing my arse off the whole time, while being scared) there is a hayride, 2 haunted houses a midnight maze, and a midway w rides. its great!

I usually take longer

I go slowly to 'capture' everything lol

u girls are crazy...i would NEVER go in one of these places im such a chicken lol... i went to a firehouse haunted house once and when i guy popped out to scare me i punched him in the face! lolol

Yea I went once and I felt the same way. Wayyy over priced. You are much better off going to the firehouse. I grew up around there next town over, and the firehouse was a must every year!!

We are headed to one in PA this year. We try to hit different ones with our friends every year

I thought it took longer than usual to get through some of them, which I think made it even more worth the $$.

On the 'Zombie Pirates' they take a mini golf course and turn it into a walk-through and I was pretty surprised by how long that one lasted. I would recommend that one and the mansion. The clown themed attraction is supposed to be another good one, but I never went in. The maze is just aggravating, but it keeps you on your toes because you expect something around every corner. I was last there 2 Halloweens ago, I'm not sure what has changed.

I didn't like the firehouse. Twice they make you get on your hands and knees and crawl through tiny spaces. The floor was also very unsteady. They're firemen, so they know what they're doing lol, but it freaked me out nonetheless.....not so much in a good way.

FH and I just went last weekend. We did every house that they had, and it was really scary!!! We had a blast, definitely recommend going

ITA I used to go these things all the time!! Then I went to one in Sayville a few years ago that scared the ever loving CRAP out of me and I havent been back to one since!!
