BBB and Macys registry

BBB and Macys registry

I felt that Macys had the exact same things as BBB and I actaully liked BBB better for my registry. I wanted to give my guests a second place to buy gifts for my shower. Didd anyone else feel the same way? Where else did yougo?

I actually registered at Macys and I had a wonderful experience! Everyone loved that it was at Macys because I had a few OOT guests and there is a Macys in practically every mall so they could go and see what they were buying before they bought it while it also gave the option to buy at BBB since they sell a lot of the same stuff. Sometimes the Macys sales made the items less expensive and sometimes BBB was the way to go, either way registering at one of these stores makes the option to buy a lot easier for people.
I also registered at amazon.com because I thought it would be cool to register online too. They mail you cute little cards that say you are registered with them if you inquire and it was nice to have an online based store since lots of people have online accounts these days and some get perks from ordering from them.

I know a lot of people who have registered at Crate & Barrell as another option. They have a lot of similar items that you would want to put on your registry as BBB, but it gives a little more variety.

id say only register at macys for finer china..... IF youre not that set on macys.

I am registered at both and yes they do have similar items. The reason I split it up into 2 registries is because macy's is better for oot guests that would like to ship a gift and i found the Macy's registry benefits better than BBB (because i have a macys cc they link the registry to it and i get cash back after the wedding and discounts on purchasing items not purchased from the registry).

I registered for Macys. A friend of mine said that it seemed a little overpriced though.. and that during her registry, she was given feedback that BBB is also a good alternative. So, after review of non-sale items ($30 for a towel!?! 1 towel!), I decided to add BBB.

I did both BBB and Macy's. I would say that they both had the same things, but Macy's way WAY more expensive. Plus BBB always have the 20% coupons. Most people will probably buy things off of the BBB registry for my list.

I also felt the same way on certain things, but not for others.

For instance my china was cheaper at BBB (not on sale at macys) but Macys had more pieces to match.

I wanted to give people options on where to shop because BBB can sometimes be a zoo and I knew some of my older relatives would prefer Macys. Plus if someone sees something at Macys they can buy it at BBB if they have it.

I just wanted to give people shopping options, plus I get points with my Macys CC.

Macy's is awesome because after the wedding you receive a gift card for like like 10% (?) of the purchases made... Yay Macy's Star rewards! I got a GC for $177! (Good on anything, it's a regular gift card)

I did Macys. BBB did not have fiesta ware, which I have had my heart set on for years. We didn't register for fine china. We would rather have good appliances! I like the rewards that Macys has. I have a CC with them so everything I buy counts towards the gift card they give you at the end. I purchased my dress there too, so that counts towards that gift card too!

I registered at BBB, Macys and Crate & Barrell. Each had things a little different and if they had the same item I registered that item at te cheaper store.

I did both. If you have a macys card you get $ back and some people like to use their macys card. I prefer bbb too, so I did most of the registry there.
