Does anyone know if Bed Bath gives cash refunds on registry items? I received some duplicate gifts from my shower, but there is not much left of my registry to make an exchange. Thanks for your help!!

u wont get cash if i recall, but will get store credit to buy anything else- doesnt have to be on your registry

You get store credit, not cash. Don't need the receipt either b/c they can see it's on the registry when you return it.
It helped a ton with us @ Fortuneoff b/c we got $700 in credit there and bought our dining room table a few months ago. With the sale and credit we paid about $700 for it...

I got cash back for whatever I returned from my registry. Although one item they never took off my registry when my cousin bought it and they would only give me the lowest sale price, which was $30 less than the actual price.

I heard you get cash for anything that was on your registry. If it was a gift not originally on there, they give you store credit

That's not true for BBB. You can get cash back as long as it was bought off of your registry.

i know the one in westbury gives you the choice, credit or cash. i always take the cash! it was the key selling point to us having our registry there. if you receive a gift that wasnt on your registry then you'll have to get a credit.

The store I registered at told me I could get cash back but, the store that I returned to (a fairly new store) only gave me a store credit. It was fine though because I needed a lot of my bedding and some other things still so I didn't fight it.

i just returned something yesterdat that was on my registry and recieved cash. if the item was niot on your registry then u will get store credit.

I thought I heard that wayyyyy before I registered the only store to give u cash back on registry items was the BBB in Westbury. I could be wrong tho........................ call BBB and ask them!

Not true. I've gotten cash back at another one. It's a store-wide policy.
