We took about 45 minutes to do the plates and stuff. . .however, we did the rest online. Granted, we got there an hour before closing, so we were trying to get the important stuff done (the stuff that we needed to see in person) like the fine china and everyday dining pieces.
Still need to go there to double check my towel choices. . .

We did ours at Macy's, and we only started it, but it took about an hour. We met with a registry consultant and she set up our registry and then we had fun with the scan gun! It was right before christmas though so we had to a wait a little and the store was pretty crazy. We got a good chunk done though. You can always add stuff online and things. We decided to wait on bedding and towels and stuff bc that stuff turns over and gets discontinued alot.
It was a lot of fun, FH loved it more than I did and he was resisting at first lol! Have fun!

We were there a while, over an hour, and didn't even finish it all. We went back again for about an hour. I found that completing it online has been pretty easy though. I go back often to update.

It took us about 2 hours we went around the store 3 times. I hope you eat before you go last thing you need is a cranky FH walking around the store. If he starts acting up give him the scanner that worked for me

I started mine online and then we went together to do bedding and a few extras. THAT was a mistake because FH insisted on registering for an espresso machine that is basically useless. I'd say plan on at least an hour. You might want to do it in 2 shifts - pick a couple of sections on the recommended registry checklist they give you and get that all done today and then go another day for the rest.

Just a tip- I advise you to set it up online BEFORE YOU GO. I went to register, and for some reason, I was tag teamed by two reps with the hard sell for all kinds of stuff.
I wanted to say, Guys, I'm already HERE. Can you back off, please?
So I left. I hate people getting in my space.
I went home and set up the registry online. I didn't register for anything- I just set it up- names, dates, etc. THEN I went back when the store first opened up on the weekend. I think that's also a key- get there FIRST THING in the morning, because there's a mob of people.
Since I was already set up, I simply went up to the customer service desk, told them I wanted to add stuff to my registry, and they gave me the gun. MUCH easier than sitting there and having to fill out all that stuff there. No BS.

I was there between 4 & 5 hours. I went to the MAIN westchester location, its huge! They also bought out dinner.

It took us a while... probably like an hour and a half and we mostly just did china. We had a girl helping us the whole time and it was good bc we had a lot of questions, but after about 20 mins I wanted to be like Ummm ok you can go away now.

we were there almost two hours before FH realized he was hungry , could have gotten more out of him if I brought a snack for him lol

I'd rather do it online to be honet with you.... you really get more done. I went to the store and it took us over an hour to put on 3 items!!!! Fh and I were both sick of walking around- dont get me wrong.... I loved clicking stuff on, but I found it easier to do it all online.

They didn't feed you??? Am I the only person who BBB told to go eat and bring them the receipt for the food and then kept registering???? FH was very excited abt this.
