BBB registry

BBB registry

So, FH and I finally started the registration process this weekend. We went to BBB and met with this really nice woman who gave us some suggestions and then walked around with us, THE WHOLE TIME...is this normal? We ended up leaving after 3 hours because it was taking really long since she was fairly new and was talking to us and making suggestions on every item. I really appreciated her help but I kind of just want to look things over with FH and decide what we like without someone trying to get us to get the most expensive one! So, when we go back to register, should we just say that we want the scanner and to go alone or is this something BBB doesnt allow?

Re: BBB registry

We had a woman who walked the china dept with us and I found her really helpful...every time I've gone back to update my registry they never suggest someone to walk with me...I think you'll be fine.

Re: BBB registry

The woman I worked with at BBB told us that she would walk around with us only if we wanted to. She said if at any time you want to go it alone, just say the word and I'll head back to office. After we made one run through the store, she said she'd go print out our labels and get inserts from the office and we could take the scanner and walk around on our own. So that's what we did! I actually really liked that she came with us. The store was huge and crowded and she really helped us go from room to room like concentrate on all kitchen items first then go to bathroom items, etc. Also, she was hysterical! LOL! We had a good time. Even FH said he had fun!

Also, something to consider- BBB will allow you to come in before the store opens or after it closes to avoid crowds!!

Thanks ladies! Yeah, we went on Saturday and it was really crowded which was why it got frustrating walking around with someone too. She was really helpful with somethings like china since I don't know much about it.
