bbb registry returns

i have some shower gifts to return and i know i read on here that some of you received cash for your return. are there specific stores that give you cash instead of a store credit? also, those who got cash - did you give them the gift receipts or not?

thanks

i dont think you need receipts - i know the one in westbury gives cash

I went to Westbury . They looked up my registry name and I gave them my license to verify that it was me. I told them that I got doubles and then she scanned the boxes and gave me the cash back. Very very easy!!

We went to Bed Bath & Beyond in Westbury and got cash back.
