BBB Registry VS Macys

BBB Registry VS Macys

I can't log into my Macy's registry...they told me I had to wait 24 hrs...I did, and it still doesn't work. (I typed both user name and pw correctly!) My Macy's experience wasn't so pleasant--the registry consultant was pushing items on me even though I didn't want them, and refused to take some items off my list even though I asked her to..she tells me 'you're going to regret it, I'm leaving it' Ugh, sorry I'm not keeping a $620 down comforter lady!! now my registry is a mess and I can't even access it!

Bed Bath and Beyond--great experience--the sales lady came around with me on the first day and guided me through..today I went back to add some items by myself which went smoothly. everyone was helpful and congratulatory. I come home, log into my account with no problem and was able to modify.

Keep this in mind when you register!!

wow that's horrible about Macy's. When we went to Macy's to register for the first time, we got the scanner and were left on our own. We didn't have the consultant walk around the store with us... how annoying.

I registered at both I originally registered at Fortunoffs I was soo upset when they closed that I had to re:register....I found that Macys was good for my china and everyday plates and towels and some other things....I found that BBB was great for all my kitchen accessories...I didnt use anyone at Macys I told them I didnt need help because they were very pushy.

I registered at both and had a great experience with both places. I was told when I was registering at Macys that if you have a Knot account that you can use that password. So when I went home I tried the password the lady gave me and it didn't work and then I tired my password from the knot and it worked so try that (Does that make any sense??).

Wow when we went to macys we had a great experince it was at BBB where the women was driving me crazy! I guess it just depends on the sales people!

The people at Macy's were really nice (went to the one in Lake Grove). But afterwards I ended up moving almost everything to my BBB registry because the prices were WAY better. Like, something that cost $100 at Macy's was $25 at BBB. Now the Macy's people are calling me and asking me why I took so many things off the registry!

I actually had the reverse experience. My experience at Macy's was great (we registered at the Macy's in Harold Square) but my experience at BBB was not so great. The lady at BBB kept trying to make me register for a colored towel that I didnt like and kept insisting that I get the matching shower curtain. They even called me at work twice in one week and told me that what was on my registery wasnt sufficient for the amount of guests that we were having!
