BBB Return

I got a cake cutter and server for our engagement back in September.. I never used it, was saving it for the wedding but just got a different one that I like better. You think I can still return the one I got in September to BBB? I dont have a gift receipt

Actually yes but then I deleted off all of the stuff that was purchased back in September and started fresh for my shower...not sure if that matters or not.

You can take it back and they will give you store credit.

I think they will give you a store credit......if its from your registry though they will give you the cash back.

They give cash still, you just have to tell them you only want cash. They're just instructed to tell you that it's never been the policy, at least that's what the manager told me when I called their BS on it a while ago. The one in Farmingdale and the one in Babylon have given me cash.

I just copied this from the BBB website

Eh according to BBB it was never the policy, with that said they still do it at least if you tell them to because according to the manager they just don't want you to take your registry elsewhere. My shower is Saturday and I already have stuff to return so I guess I'll see. If I go running at Argyle tonight maybe I'll swing by and see if they give me any trouble but seriously I'd go back to the manager who told me that it would not be an issue because as far as I'm concerned if you told me when I registered that I could get cash back, I don't care what the policy is now.

Re: BBB Return

I just called BBB
and spoke to the very nice person who help me before with my registry
she told me that nothing has changed and nothing will change in the near future.

However, they always try to push the store credit on you. If you don't specify that you want cash back then you automatically get store credit when you return
one the store credit is issued they can't turn it to cash...
so be very specific when you return things... Tell them right a way you want cash back
