I am annoyed that I registered there! Everything left on my registry is 'not available' in stores and now people are buying knockoff brands of what I want since they are 'available' in store, that are crap quality and have bad reviews since my shower is soon. This is bad. Very BAD!!! How is it not available in stores? They were available in tons of local stores when I registered. There inventory really sucks!

if its not available in the store they can have the item shipped to the store for free, or simply buy it someplace else and either tell your mom or FH to have it taken off the list.

Yeah. The problem is my shower is THIS weekend and people are buying gifts LAST MINUTE to bring to the shower. My aunt already called up my mother asking if I was registered anywhere else because there was nothing left on my registry in store and she doesnt want to give money and wants to bring a gift to the party, not empty handed. I think this is happening to a bunch of other people too as i've gotten a call from a cousin as well. It's annoying. I don't want them to have to scramble around different stores and they don't want to come to my party without a gift in hand. I'm getting substitutions on my registry for things that are the same type of item but different brand now since the brands I want are not available anywhere except online or by phone. I think people don't want to come with an IOU or gift receipt for an item to show up. I think its really bad. I feel bad that I registered there and its a hassle to go to the store and nothings left. Even if it is last minute, its not nice for them to have to do a lot of searching. I feel bad about that.

dont get yourself too upset, you cant control ppl and this is something that happens when you wait last min. if its not this problem it would be the problem that nothing good is left.
they are all adults and i'm sure this isnt their first shower they will figure it out. this is the one day you are supposed to plan or worry about anything. you got enough on your plate with the wedding.
