Oh Lord. I have nothing to say except it takes a small group of people to ruin it for everyone.
i dunno, i still feel new here and don't know many of you ladies personally, but i have loved this site so much, right from the beginning. i feel like everyone here is so sincere and helpful and sweet and even though i've never met anyone, i love everyone here and it means a lot to have somewhere to go where people understand. and i have yet to see a post where people didn't get along and i didn't even know this happened... so i don't know what was said or the whole story. but reading this whole link kinda made me sad. i'm surprised, because everyone always seems to get along so well... and i hope whatever it is, everyone can get past and continue to bond and let friendships grow.
I feel so sad. I was not able to make the BBQ but I loved the idea of it and I was looking forward to seeing photos. I'm glad that maybe now it will be on a date that I can make, but this is still sad.
oh dear. women can be really catty sometimes. why cant we all get along?

For those that asked about Jon (my son) he is doing fine thank you for asking. For those that asked about the BBQ and it costing us money. Yes it has and yes we lost what was spent. Regarding the people that signed up - we never charged anyone's credit cards because we were going to announce that we weren't charging anyone, we were going to fit the entire bill. And for the punishment analogy I feel it is some what incorrect. We spent money that we are losing thus we have punished ourselves. And now it is time to lock this thread and move on.
