BC

Okay I am flipping out...I think I am going to have AF for my wedding.....I have always had a 32-33 cycle and now for the past two months I have had a 30 day cycle and I am about to get it again....

I have never been on BC before becuase we had a family friend die because of a clot caused by the pill...but now i am thinking of getting it. Will my dr prescribe it for me for this reason alone? I would go off of it after the wedding....

Or can anyone offer any advice...did anyone get it for their wedding???

I know what ya mean..I was concerned too..but it wasnt so bad, really!! I was happier that I had it for my wedding rather than for my honeymoon when Im in a swimsuit..I didnt wnat to feel bloated..atleast for my wedding day I had a nice corset that sucked up any bit of bloat!

I am on birth control, and I had it all worked out, that it would end a few days before the wedding, so the wedding and the honeymoon would be more enjoyable! Z

But unfortunately I have had my period every day for the past month! WHEN IS IT GOING TO GO AWAY! I am getting married in 7 days!

I think your doctor will prescribe it for you, so you become regular, but STRESS is a big factor and will change everything, even if you are on the pill for years like I have been!

If you are thinking of going on the pill, you should do so at least 3 months before your wedding so that your body gets used to. Also, to make sure you don't have your period for your wedding, if you finish a pack of the pills and it is around your wedding time, you just need to start the next pack and you won't get your period for that month. If you speak with your GYN, they can work out that for you!!!
