BCP: First month side effect question.

HI ladies, I haven't posted in a while, but I have a question. I just started Birth control Pills, Cryselle. Dr. put me on this for 3 months and then Othrotrycycolin lo. He gave me the Cryselle because it is stonger and he said it is the best one to use to skip my period in October(skip placebo) . So...here is my question.... First he told me to start it on the first day of my period, so I started it when I started spotting... well I spotted for 5 days but no real period so Im guessing I started to pill to soon? Next is, I have been having light cramping and some spotting now....which is 13 days later, will my period eventually regulate itself? Thanks

OK the genius that I am just read the package insert and it said, 'most women experience spotting the first 1-3 packs. So I guess my question is, whats your experience with how long it takes to adjust?

I depends on your body. In my case I never spotted but lots of cramping, headaches and nausea. After the 2nd pack I was ok. One thing watch out for the tender boobs.

I've been on the regular strength Orthrotricyclen for 8 years now. I never had any spotting, even in the beginning. I have heard when you take a pill where you only get your period every 3 months, spotting is common. ITA with the tender boobs...mine hurt so bad right before I get my period.

I've been on Orthrotricyclen lo for 12 years and I was just switched to Yasmin. I have nausea, dizziness and super tender boobs. Dr says it should pass on 2-3 cycle... But don't know if I can last that long. No spotting.
