Be careful at ATM's (LONG) ***Updated again

Please, please, please be very careful wehen going to an ATM! I'm sure all of you take caution, but sometimes we let our guards down and when you least expect it...
I was held up at a Chase 24 hour banking center on W.23rd and 6th ave. today. I wasnt alone, there happened to be another woman there. I dont know how the guy got in without a card; I know he didnt come in until I was done with my transaction and he came up behind me and told me he had a gun and he would shoot me if I didnt give him my money.
Well, it didnt really register what was happening to me until he tried to grab my wallet b/c he said I was taking too long to give him my $. I stupidly struggled, but got my wallet back. He wanted me to take out $200 from my account and I told him I had no more $. He then did the same thing to the other woman. Then he left. We were shaking and then other people came in, we told them and called the police, made a report and looked around for him. I think now I wil limit my ATM use to the one at my job or if I have to use it outside, try to go to one with a security guard. This is the 2nd hold up at that bank in 3 months according to the police. FI wants me to sue the bank for putting its customers in danger. I dont think that will fly.
Anyway, please just all take extra caution!

That is a good idea, I'm not going ot use any ATM's other than the one at work.

im glad you are okay edited to say how are you emotionally? i know being mugged can be a tramatic thing i have been mugged twice.

First, I want to thank all of you for your concerns; you guys are fabulous. Thanks for thinking of me.

Second, I wanted to say that I got a phone call from the detective early Monday morning (1am). He wanted me to come down to the station by 10am b/c he thinks they caught the guy. So, I get there and he proceeds to tell me he walked down the street where the bank is located and saw someone hanging around that fit the description I gave. Low and behold, the guy just finished trying to rob someone else. The detective caught him and I picked him out of a line up yesterday morning.

I am doing very well, thank GOD. I really do not feel frightened, just happy he was caught. I even went to the same ATM after the line up to 'get over it' so to say. FH came with me so, it was less scarier. Hey, I felt good enough to go shopping afterwards!
