Be Your Own BFF {From Bridal Bootcamp}

{I got this email from Bridal Bootcamp... So I thought I should share it with you!}

Be Your Own BFF

It takes desire, motivation, and self-discipline to reach your fitness goals, but you can go overboard. I find that some brides I work with hold themselves to unreasonable standards, getting angry or stressed if they just can't lose those last five pounds. Or they focus so much on weight loss and wedding plans that they're not excited about the actual wedding. This is the time you're supposed to be blissfully happy, not hopelessly miserable!

Remember the big picture. What's important to you? It shouldn't be the number on your scale because no one sees that but you — and really, are you just a number? No, you're a beautiful, amazing woman who's found the man of her dreams and is planning the party of her life. A fun party — with cocktails and dancing and an emotional moment when you pledge your life to your one and only. That's what's important.

So go easy on yourself. That doesn't mean you shouldn't work hard and that you'll never meet your goals, but it means that your goals should be reasonable, and you shouldn't beat yourself up if everything doesn't go exactly the way you've planned. After all, you don't want anyone calling you Bridezilla, do you?
