Right now we are set to have our ceremony on the beach but are wondering how others might feel getting sand in their shoes. I know everyone tells us to do what we want to do and not worry about others, but its on our mind.
Has anyone ever had or been to a beach ceremony? Was the sand an issue? Our other option is the gazebo that sits in front of the sand, but there's something about being right on the beach with the water a few steps from us.

I personally think it's beautiful and considered it.. but because my date is on labor day weekend, I figured the beach would be packed and driving, parking, etc for my guests would be a nightmare.. Hope it works out!

Honestly I think beach weddings look beautiful, but I'm one of those people that hateeee sand in my shoes and/or the dryness that comes with it. I'd feel like I needed a shower after the ceremony

This is what I wanted to do..I'm jealous!! If I were going to a wedding on the beach I would just take my shoes off and go barefoot
